Simple and sturdy fire pit will keep the party going

It is simply amazing how people are drawn to open flame. Are we all pyro’s at heart? Probably. For any deck or patio party a little fire is a hugely successful addition (a contained fire, not a house fire). Something like this stand alone deck fire pit burns firewood giving off not only impressive heat but that great “campfire’ smell. Fire keeps people outside longer, the party going when the chill sets in and add’s that “glow” to the night!

A Metal Fire Heat Pit like this one measures a bit over two and a half feet to a side so you don’t need a really huge area to use it. You can tell it’s a sturdy piece from the photo so knocking it over is not a worry. A good friend of mine has had one of these for years. For day time parties and gatherings he throws a bunch of ice and beers in the fire pit and uses it as a “grab your own beer” cooler and table. As the sun starts setting he dumps the ice off in the bushes and gets a fire going. Pretty sweet and affordable little deal. They’ve got it on for less than seventy bucks.
